WELCOME to Aston Village Hall
Aston, nestled in the picturesque countryside on the Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire borders, a most beautiful area and favourite walking place of Charles Darwin during his formative years.
The Village Hall situated in the centre of the idyllic rural hamlet of Aston was built in 1955 and blends country charm with modern facilities. Housing its very own chapel and with ample car parking there are few events that cannot be accommodated.
Decorated to a very high standard, the hall has a maximum capacity for 80 guests and is the ideal location for bringing friends and family together regardless of the occasion.
The Village Hall Trustees are dedicated to the community managing the Hall for the benefit of the community as a whole. There are many social events held throughout the year, visit the EVENTS page for our latest information.
The Trustees also actively encourage members of the Aston, Weymouth, Willoughbridge and Blackbrook communities to organise special interest groups open to any member of our community.
Organisers of these events are able to use Aston Village Hall, free of charge.
Aston Village Hall is pleased to announce that the halls new windows are supported by National Lottery for All, Staffordshire County Council and Newcastle Borough Council.
Aston Village Hall is proud to be a recipient in 2013 of grants from the Big Lottery, Staffordshire County Council and the Community Chest. These have enabled us to replace the original, metal framed windows which after 60 years were no longer fit for purpose. Not only will the new windows be more energy efficient and look much better but they will make the hall an even nicer space to use. Local residents and prospective users of the Hall are invited to come along and see the new work - just contact a trustee.
